IPass is pretty sweet

I-Pass is really starting to pull its weight around the country:

The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority's I-PASS electronic toll transponders now work on roads that accept E-ZPass.Tolls will be automatically deducted from the windshield-mounted devices, with no need to stop to pay tolls by hand, from the Dulles Toll Road outside Washington, D.C. to the Maine Turnpike, and including highways in the Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York and Boston metropolitan areas.

Is the state of Illinois now selling the demographics of the state to the east coast? I-Pass requires the drivers register their car and a major credit card which means the state is really getting info about the make up of the drivers in the Northern Part of the state. Now it looks like they are swapping our information with the east coast. Privacy comes to mind.
