Kirby, Kirby, Kirby

There are few professional athletes that are truely good people. Everyone always says that so and so is a good guy while behind the scene this said athlete is not. Kirby Puckett is one of those athletes who almsot everyone can agree upon as being a good guy. Some bad news came down from MLB....

Hall of Fame outfielder Kirby Puckett, one of the most beloved players to ever don a Twins uniform, suffered a stroke Sunday morning at his Scottsdale, Ariz., home.

Puckett, 44, was transported to Scottsdale Memorial Hospital and later airlifted to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborne where he underwent surgery, the Twins announced. His exact condition was still unknown as of late Sunday afternoon.

As a Minnesota boy, Kirby, you and your family are in my prayers.

UPDATE: Kirby is currently in Critical Condition
